September 25th, CAPP-USA’s 2026 Pro Pontifice Dinner

On Friday, September 25th, business leaders, professionals. academics, clergy, diplomats, and policymakers, united by service to Christ and Catholic Social Teaching, gathered at The Lotus Club in New York City for CAPP-USA’s 2026 Pro Pontifice Dinner.

This year’s dinner honored His Eminence Pietro Cardinal Parolin, Secretary of State of the Holy See on the occasion of his representing the Holy See at the United Nations General Assembly. His Eminence joined our very first Pro Pontifice Dinner in 2014, and we remain deeply grateful for his continued friendship and steadfast support.

We were honored to welcome His Excellency Archbishop Christophe-Zakhia el-Kassis, the new Apostolic Nuncio and Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations; Ambassador Mike Waltz, U.S. Representative to the United Nations; Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly of the Knights of Columbus; Ambassador Paul Beresford-Hill of the Permanent Observer Mission of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the United Nations; Sigrid Marz, President, and Rodrigo Whitelaw, SecratayGenral of UNIAPAC; and Msgr. Peter Vaccari, President of the Catholic Near East Welfare Association.

Above all, we give thanks to our Lord, who continues to bless the vision of our founder, St. John Paul II: to promote the knowledge and practice of Catholic Social Teaching among the lay leaders of our society.
