Objective:\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Drawing on the book by Prof. Recep Senturk, published in 2025, on \u201cAdamiyyah. I am, therefore I have rights and duties<\/b>\u201d, the Webinar aims at discussing the social economic and institutional arrangements that would promote dialogue on \u00a0and compliance with human rights at local, national and international level. The experience so far at the United Nations and in other fora as well as in many national and local contexts has not been very encouraging in spite of several waves of reforms and widespread good intentions. Investing in deepening the\u00a0ethical foundations<\/b>\u00a0of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, signed in Paris on\u00a010 December 1948<\/b>, and promoting the role that\u00a0interreligious dialogue<\/b>\u00a0can play in that investment, particularly involving the\u00a0universal religions of the Mediterranean<\/b>, might be a promising way forward. But the\u00a0social economic and institutional frameworks<\/b>\u00a0that would enable that dialogue, with a focus on dealing with poverty, unemployment and inequality, need to be focused upon and discussed.
