On 22 September, a webinar was held for the Ecclesiastic Counsellors of local groups in Italy. The meeting, discussion and reflection session was led by HE Monsignor Andrea Migliavacca, Ecclesiastic Counsellor for Italy, together with Paolo Garonna and Oliver Galea, respectively President and Secretary General of the Foundation. The core of the journey and service is represented by the Social Doctrine of the Church. The reference point is the message addressed by Pope Leo XIV to the Foundation during the Private audience last May. Particular attention was given to networking in the territories and dialogue with the bishops, starting from the dioceses where the Foundation is already present. During the meeting, the activities of the Foundation were illustrated. Reflections and proposals from the Ecclesiastical Assistants were also shared. In addition, several themes were identified that may characterise the service of local groups at territorial level: specifically, the fight against polarisation, the search for peace and interreligious dialogue.
